DMCA and Copyright Policy
Effective date: July 16, 2026
Daily Bite, operated by Successfitness, respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright, and how we respond. It works alongside ourTerms of Service and theHow Saving Works and Copyright page.
Reporting a copyright concern
If you own the copyright in a work, or are authorized to act for the owner, and you believe content available through Daily Bite infringes that copyright, you can send us a written notice. To be valid, your notice should include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you believe is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (for example, the recipe title and where it appears in the app).
- Your contact information: name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

What we do when we receive a notice
When we receive a complete and valid notice, we review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material. We aim to respond within 30 business days. We may notify the affected user and give them a copy of the notice.
Counter-notice
If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to our copyright agent that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
We may restore removed material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a legal action.
Repeat infringers
We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
A note
This policy is part of, but does not replace, our Terms of Service. Sending a false notice or counter-notice may carry legal consequences.
